Up-dates... Is death following me around?

death following me around?
Yes, yes, yes, I know I have been really lasy and not posted
any up-dates, so let me start by filling-in some blanks..
- First with the sad and bad news- a number of dearest
and closets friends have had either their wives and/or family die on them-
not just one or two people but four and more. Making me feel
confused and concerned, how does one reach out to people that you really
care about? How does one tell them that you are there for them and want to
share their burden? How does one tell them that this is a natural process
of life and things will pass with out sounding like a real ass hole? I
hope those friends of mine know that I care and share their burden of
pain....
- Secondly- I recently fell for what I thought was a
nice and caring person- we started like a storm of hope and desire and
ended with shear disappointment and confusion- well definitely on my side
of the fence.. I have learnt things that disturbed me about that person,
which makes me, question my judgment and ability to see people for who
they really are? Why did I so trust, when all the signs were clearly
there- especially in terms of her confused sexuality? Not to go on
too much but I have come to the position and understanding that New York
is really a sick place- where people play games and have no understanding
of human emotions.. Words are cheap and people's feeling and emotions are
even cheaper. All I hope for is that she one day realizes what we had and
the game played by her and her girlfriend is one that will lead to only
more tragedy and hurt - what goes around, comes around...
- Now for the good news!! Well over due, I hear you
say!! I went on a fantastic 10 day holiday to Mexico- Playa del
Carmen and other places.. Scuba diving, fishing, ruins, laying on our
beach and a good company of friends. This was the holiday and break that
helped me re-focus and forget about "the teacher-girl" (joke
between dear friends).

- I am taking piano lessons, learning Spanish (beyond
where is the party and do you drink) and playing golf...
- Finally- I think I have found some one- sweet, honest
and ... well HOT!!! So what is stopping me from moving forward I hear you
say? Well she is special and just thinks of me as a friend and possible
future work colleague? We have had our moment and we have expressed
a liking for each other, however....well like a good English mystery story
watch this space.... V
