Thank God for DEADWOOD!

Ok- here is how the story goes..
Was supposed to be meeting someone for a drink at 9:30ish- semi serious person who I have never met in my life!

Was supposed to be playing soccer at , however game cancelled, went home- showered, sleep, w#nk and went to see my buddy Vishal. We read a book at by the time I got down to the East Village, I was on my little trip- by the way I am reading "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe". So my imagination is already on a good trip..

Got to the East village- its , the cab drive was taking forever!! Went to see Paula and Patrick- who were having an evening of Deadwood that "co$ksucker of a show". At this point it became obvious to me that I was in no state to have a serious conversation let alone face someone I have never met! Further, we (Paula, Patrick and I) contemplated issues such as what if she doesn't read books? What if .. (At this point I lost all sense and just started laughing)..

So the group decision was that if the person didn't call by then I was Scot free of this obligation and could continue to watch DEADWOOD that co#ksucker of a show and read more books!!

Well I eagerly watched the big hand move past the 9 on Paula's clock and celebrated by reading a very extensive book!!! So in essence, I have now become a Deadwood fan and someone who lives by the clock... Yes these are very sketchy conclusions, but trust me- Paula and Patrick would agree I was in no state to have a serious conversation..
